It shouldn’t be so hard finding a trusted partner who will provide you with the most reliable evidence based education and solutions. This is where my passion lies. Connecting with your children, listening to your concerns, assessing the problem, and discussing all of your options to empower you in making the best choice for your family. My goal is for you to feel heard, validated, empowered, and confident when you leave our appointment.
Becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner
Born and raised as an only child in the heart of Garland, my affinity for nurturing young minds blossomed early on. Initially dreaming of shaping young lives as an elementary school teacher, my path took a different turn, leading me to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University in 2005.
I found myself embarking on a transformative six-year journey as a dedicated Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. Yet, my thirst for knowledge and desire to make a deeper impact led me to further my education, culminating in a Master of Science in Nursing degree in 2011.
Becoming a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), my dedication to holistic wellness was solidified. Drawing inspiration from my membership in the American Holistic Nurses Association (AHNA), my skills to treat not just symptoms, but the underlying causes of illness was honed.
Since 2011, I knew my true calling was integrative pediatrics. Throughout my tenure at Healthy Kids Pediatrics, Shine Pediatrics, Family Health and Wellness of Plano, and Wonderfully Made Wellness Sanctuary, I consider myself blessed to have the opportunity to touch countless lives through compassionate care.
In 2024, I was honored to be nominated as a DFW Child Approved Mom.

Personalized Appointment
During your appointment, expect a personalized and intimate experience. It will be just you, your child, and me—sometimes even involving play! Your child will be met exactly where they are, ensuring a tailored approach to their needs you’ll have gained a trusted partner for your family’s health.
Assessment & Education
The ultimate goal is to prevent chronic disease down the road. You’ll receive a comprehensive health history where we can identify any red flags that might be hindering your child’s health. You’ll get educated with options, solutions, and action steps for moving forward.
Resolution
Once the script is flipped, you’ll notice your child (and you!) are like whole new people. The constant worry, fear, and stress over your child’s health dissipates and you begin to feel like a normal family again.
